The Development Readiness Workshop will dive deep into what each community can do to solidify their process for attracting development. Each community has buildings or assets that are unique and often underutilized. By identifying these assets and training the participants on how to proactively market to developers, these assets will be retained and personified.
The success of a commercial corridor is rooted in the diversity of services or amenities offered. Creating congruency will encourage increased use. Private development is looking to provide a good or service that is sustainable within a community. Providing goods or services that are missing will improve the long-term sustainability.
This event is funded in-part by USDA Rural Development.
