Katherine Correll, Executive Director
Katherine Correll is an innovative resource choreographer for local governments, non-profits, and private businesses hoping to achieve more with less. She brings broad experience in public-private partnerships, financing strategies, and organizational and partnership structures. Kat is well versed in professional development and volunteer networks, outreach and engagement, community and economic development, not-for-profit administration, project development and management, communications, and establishing collaboration around shared experience and marketing initiatives.
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Katherine has worked with development initiatives in Denver, New York, Chicago, and the Former Soviet Union. Katherine received her master's degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University and her bachelor's degree in Politics with a Minor in Urban Studies from New York University.
Kylie Brown, Rural outreach coordinator
Kylie is a Colorado local and proud of it. She did take a brief sojourn to Tempe, AZ to get degrees from Arizona State University in Sustainability and Design Management. Kylie cemented her love for vibrant Colorado communities and their development when she interned at the Department of Local Affairs in the summer of 2015. She was hooked on providing assistance to communities all over the state so she came to work for DCI as their Communications VISTA and then completed a year as a VISTA Leader overseeing DCI's AmeriCorps VISTA program. Her current role is Rural Outreach Manager and VISTA Program Supervisor. Kylie manages the Colorado Challenge Accelerator Program and she loves working with our rural communities to turn challenges into solutions.

Stephanie grew up in the Finger Lakes area of New York where her interest in community development and placemaking originated. She attended Messiah College where she received a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies with a minor in sociology/anthropology which further added to her interest in urban planning, placemaking, socioeconomics, and community development. After college, Stephanie spent 10 months serving with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) doing a variety of service work in MT, HI, and CA. After NCCC, Stephanie started at DCI as the Communications AmeriCorps VISTA, then transitioned to the VISTA Leader role and is now excited to continue building DCI's membership relations as the Membership Manager.
Kayla Jones, Membership Coordinator Americorps vista
Kayla is a recent graduate from Temple University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. Kayla’s key interests include environmental issues, sustainability, urban planning, and social justice. In her free time she enjoys cooking/baking, traveling, and listening to music. In the future Kayla hopes to potentially obtain a Masters in Urban Planning. Kayla is excited to be at DCI and an AmeriCorps Vista. She can’t wait to learn more about the non-profit industry!

Morgan recently graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and minors in Spanish, Management, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She is passionate about fighting for the underdog and striving to make a difference through empathy, determination, and grit. Morgan loves laughing, singing, speaking Spanish, drinking coffee, and diving into meaningful conversations. She is eager to learn and will work relentlessly to create lasting impact.
